Las Vegas is one of the arid locations that changes its watering rules with the seasons. Starting Sunday, November 1st, winter Las Vegas water restrictions are in effect for Las Vegas through February 29th, 2016.
The restriction means watering should be cut down to just once a week to eliminate waste and conserve water. No time restrictions have been laid out but it makes the most sense to water in the morning, early enough that the water doesn’t evaporate in the heat but late enough that the ground isn’t too cold to absorb the water.
Consider bringing your potted plants indoors and watering them with recycled water from your bath or shower.
